Full Notification

At approximately 2216 hours, a WCPD patrol vehicle driven by an officer was struck by another vehicle which had just been involved in a felony hit and run. The incident occurred at Parkside Drive and Hillside Ave. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody and transported to the hospital with injuries. The WCPD officer was also transported to the hospital with injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
