Police Blotter June 17th to June 20th

June 17th
Residential Burglary - 700 Block of Balra Dr:
At 1118am, officers responded to the report of a residential alarm. Officers found the rear slider was found shattered and the house was rifled through.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Conlon Ave. at Mono Ave.
At 6:54pm, an officer located an unoccupied stolen BMW.

Methamphetamine Possession – San Pablo Ave at Eastshore Blvd. At 6:53 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop. He determined that a 29 year old San Leandro man was in possession of methamphetamines. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave at Eastshore Blvd.
During a pedestrian contact, a 42 year old female from Richmond was arrested on two theft warrants . She was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Methamphetamine Possession – Carlson Blvd at S.55th St. –At 9:31pm, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop. It was discovered that a passenger, a male adult from Richmond, had methamphetamine and a smoking pipe. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

Warrant Arrest – IFO 11565 San Pablo Ave – at 9:48 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop. A 38 year old, Oakland resident was found to have a No Bail probation violation warrant. He was booked and transported to the Martinez detention facility.

June 18th
Robbery - Blake Street near the BART Path
At 1255 hours, Officers responded to the report of a robbery. A pedestrian was walking and was confronted by two suspects. One of the suspects asked the victim for a cigarette and then punched him in the face. The second suspect then pushed him to the ground and they rifled through is pockets taking cash. When one of the suspects fled, he dropped his California identification card. The victim was transported to the Hospital due to a head injury. The suspect, a 55 year old Richmond man was located in Richmond. He was arrested, booked, and then transported to the Contra Costa County Detention Facility.

Hit and Run / Driving under the Influence of an alcoholic beverage - S. 56th Street / Potrero Avenue:
At 1400 hours, officers responded to the report of a hit and run collision. A Ford truck veered off the roadway and hit a pole which in turn fell onto a parked car. The suspect vehicle was registered in Richmond. The Ford truck fled the scene. The driver, a 56 year old Richmond man was located at his residence shortly thereafter. He was determined to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and driving on a suspended license. He was also placed under citizen’s arrest for hit and run collision. He was booked and transported to the MDF.

Vehicle Tampering - 10100 block of San Pablo Avenue:
At 3:03pm, officers responded to the report of a subject rummaging through an unlocked vehicle. When confronted by the vehicle’s owner, he fled. An officer located the subject at Belmont Avenue/Central Avenue. The adult male from Vallejo was positively identified and placed under citizen’s arrest. He was booked and cite released.

Shoplifter – Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Avenue:
At 5:22pm, an officer responded to the report of a shoplifter in custody at Safeway. A 45 year old San Francisco woman was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting. She was booked and released on a citation.

Possession of a Controlled Substance – 10500 San Pablo Ave.
At 8:00pm, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop. The subject, a 52 year old male from Oakland was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

Warrant Arrest – Cutting Blvd near S. 50th St.

At 11:35pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver, a 58 year old San Pablo man, was determined to have a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

June 19th

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave at MacDonald Ave:

At 1:04am, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver was determined to have a DUI warrant from San Bernardino County. She was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

Warrant Arrest – Central Ave at Pierce St.

At 1:40am, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop. The subject, a 25 year old transient was contacted and determined to have a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

Controlled Substance Possession – San Pablo Ave at Clinton Ave.

At 2:09am, an officer conducted a traffic stop. During a traffic stop, the officer determined the occupants were in possession of controlled substances. A 23 year old San Pablo man and a 25 year old Pinole resident were arrested booked and transported to the MDF.

Driving under the Influence of an Alcoholic Beverage – Central Ave. at Yolo Ave.

At 3:27am, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver was determined to be under the influence of alcoholic beverage. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

June 20th
Burglary - 11025 San Pablo Ave: At 1206 hours, an officer responded to the report of burglary. On Saturday, at 5:40am, a WMA or HMA, 20-30 years old, tall, thin build, black clothing, short shaved head, black backpack entered the residential complex. He walked around and checked all the doors and eventually pried open the rear door. Once inside, the man entered a storage area and left via the front doors.

Stolen Vehicle (Report/Recovery) – Safeway 11450 San Pablo Ave :

At 6:23pm, the victim reported her silver 2011 Chevy Impala was stolen while she was shopping at Safeway. An officer reviewed video surveillance and saw the suspect walk out of the entry/exit doors holding the victims keys, then get into the victims vehicle and drive northbound through the parking lot. The victim believes she might have dropped her keys or left them on the check stand counter.

After taking the initial report, the officer located the Chevy parked, unoccupied, with the keys in the ignition, on the north side of the Safeway parking lot. The victim’s wallet was missing from her vehicle. **A safety note: please do not leave any belongings inside your vehicle. This goes for a coat, jacket, phone, wallet, laptop, tablet, etc.**
