ACCUSED: Louis R. DiLieto Jr, Age 44 Asbury Park, NJ
NARRATIVE:
Over the past few months several residences in the Borough of Deal, Borough of Interlaken and the Village of Loch Arbour dating back to April 20, 2016, have been burglarized or experienced a theft. Detective Dan Kobil was assigned to these cases and conducted an investigation.
Throughout the investigation Detective Kobil was able to collect forensic and electronic evidence that helped provide a detailed description of the accused suspect. In sharing this information with several surrounding agencies the Tinton Falls Police Department was able to locate and arrest the individual committing the same crimes in their jurisdiction.
Louis R. DiLieto was subsequently arrested by Detective Kobil and charged with 6 counts of burglary, 12 counts of theft and 7 counts of defiant trespass. Mr. DiLieto was committed to Monmouth County Correctional Institution default $94,500.00 bail.
