The Annual Fourth of July Fun Run will take place this Monday (July 4th) beginning at 8:30 a.m. Due to the closure of a portion of the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail, the course has changed this year.

Runners will begin on Moraga Road at the Moraga Center. They will run south on Canyon Road, to Camino Pablo, east on Camino Pablo and into the neighborhood. Runners will be on Camino Pablo, Rimer, Tharp, and Hodges before returning to Canyon Road. The runners will run from Canyon to De La Cruz, School Street and back to the Moraga Center.

Please use caution when driving in these areas on July 4th from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. while the runners are in the area and the course is being cleaned up. Also, drivers should expect delays as traffic may be stopped at certain intersections to allow runners to pass or cross.
