Merrimack Village District Restriction
MVD is announcing that effective Monday morning, June 27TH, 2016 a PARTIAL WATERING RESTRICTION has been implemented. The RESTRICTION is as follows:
OUTSIDE WATERING IS ALLOWED FROM 5AM – 8AM AND 5PM-8PM
ONLY
ON ODD/EVEN DAYS BASED ON HOUSE NUMBER AND DATE
As a result of continued heavy water consumption, extremely high temperatures and lack of precipitation, the MVD is implementing this restriction for the safety of the water supply and overall fire protection.
Over use and outside watering on the wrong days could cause the MVD
to impose further restrictions on outside watering.
