Please accept our apologies that the crime statistics table did not translate well in the Nixle environment. Here is a short narrative about the statistics:

We recently reviewed crime statistics for the first 5 months of 2016 and compared them to the same period in 2015:

Burglaries are down 61% in 2016 (7 reported v. 18 reported in 2015) and thefts are down 20.5% (35 reported v. 44 in 2015). Motor vehicle thefts are also down 12.5% (7 reported v. 8 in 2015). Fortunately, we did not have any homicides or sexual assault reported during this period of time and assaults remained steady (9 reported in each year), as did robberies (1 reported in each year).

As you can see, 2016 is an improvement over 2015, but things can change very fast. This is why it is important that we all remain diligent about the security and safety of our community. Thank you for helping us to keep Moraga safe!
