The Law Enforcement Torch Run in Support of Special Olympics (LETR) will make its way through Arcadia this morning. Arcadia Police Department personnel will take the hand off of the torch from the Monrovia Police Department at about 11:00 a.m. at Huntington Drive and Fifth Avenue.
The "Flame of Hope" will be carried westbound Huntington Drive to southbound Santa Anita Avenue, and westbound Las Tunas Drive, where APD will pass the torch to members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Temple Station, just west of Baldwin Avenue.
Come out and cheer our folks on along the way!
Expect minor traffic delays and lane closures along the route as the torch passes.
