Starting Saturday 6/11 at 8PM, the S/B lanes of Azusa Ave. will be closed at Cypress due to SCE pole replacements. 
The City of Covina Public Works Department advises you to avoid the intersection of Azusa Avenue and Cypress Street starting at 8:00 PM on Saturday June 11, 2016 due to the southbound lanes of Azusa being closed south of the intersection. The closure is required while Southern California Edison completes power pole replacements in the area. It is anticipated that the southbound lanes will be reopened by 8:00 AM on Sunday June 12, 2016.
It is anticipated that there will be a significant amount of congestion in the area during the road closure and it is suggested that motorists use Citrus Avenue, Hollenbeck Avenue, Lark Ellen Avenue, or Vincent Avenue to help alleviate any potential traffic delays.
