Attention Residents:
Please note that the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced that lanes on Route 1 & 9 northbound in Elizabeth would be closed overnight to allow PSE&G to install two manholes.
From 7:00 p.m. tonight, Friday, June 3 through 6:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, contractor, JF Creamer and Sons will close the shoulder, the right lane and the center lane on Route 1 & 9 northbound in Elizabeth from Elizabeth Avenue to Spring Street. The closure will allow for the installation of two underground electric manholes.
Please seek alternate routes.
