WANTED: Car Burglary/ID Theft Suspects

Do you recognize the man and woman in these surveillance photos? They are wanted in connection with a car burglary and identity theft case.

A wallet was stolen from an unlocked car in the 100 block of Orphan Alley in Del Mar sometime between May 29th and May 30th.

Later on, credit cards in the wallet were used to purchase items from several stores, including Wal-Mart and Target in Kearny Mesa.

A man and a woman who used the stolen credit cards were caught on camera leaving the stores in an older model Toyota pickup with a chrome bumper.

If you recognize the suspects or their pickup, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to a felony arrest.

Anonymous email and text messages can be sent in via www.sdcrimestoppers.org.

With summer approaching, the Sheriff's Department would like to remind everyone to lock their cars to avoid becoming the victim of a crime.
