The City of Carson invites you to an Open House for the Carson Vision Plan on Wednesday June 1^st from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Carson Community Center (801 E Carson St, Carson, CA 90745). We need to hear your ideas for the future of the City’s northwest gateway near the I-405 and I-110 interchange! Stop by anytime, give us your input, and enjoy free Subway sandwiches and a chance to win a $100 Target Gift Card!

How do you Envision Carson? In December of last year, the Carson City Council enacted a moratorium on new development within a 600-acre area around the City’s 157-acre site and future home of a major regional attraction. The purpose of the moratorium was to allow the City to work strategically with the community and property owners to prepare a cohesive future development plan for the project area. The Carson Vision Plan will help set the stage for future efforts to revitalize the area, support the City’s new projects including the Porsche Experience (opening September 2016), and create a vibrant destination center to serve the entire South Bay region.

Over the past few months the City has worked with property owners in the area to prepare a Draft Vision Plan that highlights the potential for future residential, regional commercial, industrial, office, and mixed-use development within the 600 acres. Now we need to hear your ideas on the Draft Vision Plan and what you envision for the future of Carson!
