Resurfacing of Texas Road from Englishtown Rd to bridge over Matchaponix Brook beginning Wednesday, June 1st.
• It is scheduled to mill and resurface Texas Road from Englishtown Road to bridge over Matchaponix Brook at County Line during night time on Wednesday (6/1) 7:00 pm to 5:00 am (6/2) and again on Thursday (6/2) 7:00 pm to 5:00 am (6/3). One lane will be milled and paved each night.
• Eastbound traffic (from the direction of Monroe Township) will be able to use Texas Road at all times. Westbound traffic will be detoured along Englishtown Road to the south then to Mounts Mills Road (Monroe Twp.) and Spotswood Englishtown Road (Monroe Twp.) which meets Texas Road in Monroe Township. A copy of the detour plan is attached.
• During daytime (5:00 am to 7:00 pm) Texas Road will be open to traffic from both directions.
