Full Notification

On May 26^th, 2016, detectives with the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau and Compliance Response Team discovered that a subject wanted for escaping from his electronic monitoring system was in the Tanglewood area of Santa Maria. They located 26-year-old Gabriel Limon of Santa Maria at a residence in the 1900 block of Elmwood Drive.  Santa Barbara County Air Support and Sheriff’s patrol deputies were called in to assist.

Limon was taken into custody without incident.  He was subsequently booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on $100,000 bail for attempt escape. 

Detectives also discovered a subject who had an active warrant for his arrest was at a business in Santa Maria.  They located 25-year-old Jaron Olivas in the 1800 block of North Broadway.  He was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail on $10,000 bail.
