Forest City Police Officers make arrest in connection with house fire. 
On today’s date at 2:04 pm, Forest City Police Officers and Fire Department were dispatched to a vacant and unoccupied residence at 137 Melody Lane for a house fire. Based upon the interviews and witness statements, the fire appears to have been arson.
Forest City Police Officers have arrested Demarius Shondrell Ponder in relation to the incident.
Forest City Investigators and Forest City Fire Department are still on scene at this time.
