First Degree Murder
Investigators of the Jackson Police Department have arrested Cedric Lamont Evans and Cornelius Lynn Jones for the January 12, 2016 murder of Mondarrius Miller.
On Tuesday January 12th, officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 550 Old Hickory, the Villages. Upon arrival, officers discovered a gray Pontiac with gunfire damage. The body of Mondarrius Miller was found lying inside this vehicle. Miller had multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
A thorough investigation by investigators along with forensic testing from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation assisted in identifying Evans and Jones.
