Press Release: Nicholas Dinola Arrested for Burglary

LOCATION: Middlesex County Correctional Facility

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Detective’s Bryan Morgan and Jesse Orbach Detective Sergeant’s Thomas Burke and Greg Tongring

ACCUSED: Nicholas Dinola 37 year old Male - Ocean, NJ

NARRATIVE:
On May 19th, 2016 at approximately 10:28 am a residential burglary occurred in the Wanamassa section of town. The burglary was captured by covert surveillance cameras and revealed a suspect removing electronics from the residence. On Saturday, May 21st the surveillance footage was released to the public in an effort to identify the suspect. Within hours of releasing the footage numerous tips were received. Detective Bryan Morgan investigated the tips and was able positively identify the suspect in the video as Nicholas Dinola. As a result of the identification warrants for burglary and theft were issued for his arrest.

On May 26, 2016 the Dunellen Police Department arrested, Nicholas Dinola, following a motor vehicle stop on our outstanding warrant. The Dunellen Police Department transported Mr. Dinola to the Middlesex County Jail where he is currently incarcerated.
Detective Bryan Morgan charged Mr. Dinola with one count of burglary and one count of theft. His vehicle, a 2000 Nissan Frontier was seized pending civil forfeiture proceedings as it was used in the commission of a crime. Municipal Court Judge, Timothy McGoughran set bail at $75,000.00 with no 10 % option.
