#035 Traffic Collision

A traffic collision in Niles Canyon at Palomares Rd was reported at 5:15 p.m. The already bad commute traffic became a complete mess. It took one hour to clear the scene.

#036 Potential Shoplifting Incident

Officers respond to a report of a male loading up baby formula in the Target store at the Hub and preparing to leave. While officers are responding  the male gets spooked and leaves the store. He is stopped down the street and identified.  No crime could be proven today. 

#003 Drug Paraphernalia

Officer San Luis arrested an adult male in the area of Hansen and Dondero for being in possession of drug paraphernalia. 

#042 Stolen Motorcycle

Officer Allsup investigated the report of a stolen motorcycle from the 38000 block of Paseo Padre Pkwy.  The motorcycle stolen is a 1993 black Harley Davidson Electric Glide CA license plate #21P8586.

#045 Auto Burglary

A reporting party called from Pacific Commons after observing an auto burglary of a parked vehicle. The suspect was described as black male adult wearing a baseball cap. The suspect stole electronics from the vehicle and fled as a passenger in a silver Audi. Officer Citti and FTO Hanrahan investigated.  

#005 Vandalism

Officers were dispatched to Washington Hospital to investigate a male refusing to leave. Officers arrive and learn the mar vandalized a vehicle in the parking lot. Officer Oliveira arrested the adult male and booked him at Santa Rita Jail.

#035 Warrant Arrest

Officer Dennis and FTO Ferrara conducted a  pedestrian stop at Fremont Blvd/Peralta Blvd.   They found that one male had an outstanding arrest warrant from Los Angeles.  The male from Wilmington, California was arrested for his drug related warrant.

#037 Public Intoxication Arrest 

Officer O’Neal responded to a disturbance at the Jack in the Box restaurant in Ardenwood.  There he encountered an adult male who was too drunk to care for himself.  He was arrested and booked into Fremont Jail without incident.

#026 Mental Health Evaluation

Officers initially responded to a possible bank robbery at Wells Fargo on the 40900 block of Fremont Blvd.  A male nearly vaulted the counter and demanded cash from the manager.  He fled the bank after giving his address and getting into an awaiting car.  That car was from a Fremont car dealership.  Units headed for the dealership and spotted the car on Automall Pkwy.  Sgt. Crandall assembled a team of officers to greet the occupant(s) which were out on a test drive.    The would be robber initially refused to exit the car and gave visual cues he was ready to fight.  After a brief negotiation the male gave up and was taken into custody without incident.  In the end it was found not to be an attempted robbery but a man in need of a mental health evaluation.

#004 Suspended License Arrest 

Officer Madsen conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Blacow/ Stevenson and arrested/cited Antonio Rodriguez for driving on a suspended license.

#003 Auto Burglary

Officer Allsup investigated an auto burglary (window smash) from the parking lot of Lucky's on Mowry. Only suspect description was a possible Hispanic male.
