Detectives arrest a Las Vegas man for possession of dangerous fireworks for sale and child endangerment

LOCATION: 13401 Main Street, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Markneil-Aldrin Lilbutan, 27 year old resident of Las Vegas, NV

SUMMARY: On May 25, 2016, Detectives from the Victorville Police Department arrested 27 year old Markneil-Aldrin Lilbutan for possession of dangerous fireworks for sale, child endangerment, and illegal possession of a loaded firearm.
Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, detectives from the Victorville Police Department staged a meeting with the suspect, who believed they were residents wanting to purchase illegal fireworks he had for sale. The suspect showed up with his three month old son at the meeting location with over 1,500 pounds of illegal fireworks, and a loaded firearm in his truck.
Assisted by deputies from the Hesperia Police Department and San Bernardino County Fire Personnel, detectives were able to detain the suspect at the scene. Lilbutan was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. The infant was released to his mother.
