The Dearborn Police Department is asking citizens to exercise caution when conduct property sales or purchases through social media sites such as Craiglist, Backpage, or any other sites.  While the vast majority of people conducting business through these sites have no ill intentions, some use this as an opportunity to commit crimes against unsuspecting people.  The Dearborn Police Department recommends conducting these transactions in a public place and we encourage you to conduct these transactions at the Dearborn Police Department.
