#007 Warrant Arrest

At 8:10 a.m., Officer Navas arrested a 57 year old adult male in the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Stevenson Blvd. during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant.

#008 Warrant Arrest

At 8:07 a.m., Officer Ramsey was conducting a security check in the 4100 block of Irvington Ave. While in the area, he arrested a 55 year old adult male, Fremont resident for an outstanding warrant.

#005 Commercial Burglary

At approximately 4:15 a.m., a commercial burglary occurred at Haller’s Pharmacy (Fremont and Peralta). Two suspects smashed a window and took an unknown amount of narcotics. There are no suspect leads. Investigated by Officer Scherer. Suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – Unknown race male, possibly mid-20’s, medium build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with red letters on the front, dark pants, white shoes and carrying a dark colored bag. Suspect #2 – Unknown race male with a medium build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, plaid pants (pajama bottoms), white shoes, and carrying a red reusable grocery bag.

#020 Residential Burglary

CSO Anders investigated a residential burglary in the 42000 block of Via San Luis. The residence is under construction and the burglary occurred sometime between 5/19 at 4:30 p.m. and 5/20 at 8:00 a.m. The point of entry was a door pry from the garage into the residence. Loss is tools. There are no suspect leads.

#031 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

At approximately 3:30 p.m., Officer Crow and FTO Zargham conducted a traffic stop in the area of Fremont Blvd. and Grimmer. One of the passengers in the vehicle was on searchable probation. A search was conducted and a meth pipe was located in the possession of a 54 year old adult male, Fremont resident. The male was cited released out of custody.

#046 Missing Person

At approximately 9:00 p.m., Officer K. Samayoa was detailed to Costco to check on a 17 year old , at-risk male who wondered away from his mother. Officers were told the missing person would not know his way home. A search of the area was conducted and at 10:52 p.m., officers were advised he had walked home and was safe.

#001 Promiscuous Shooting

At 2:27 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the area of Central Ave and Blacow Rd. The reporting party told dispatchers that an unknown male fired two shots. Officers arrived and could not locate any victims or witnesses. The caller had gone home. Further investigation revealed that a black male adult in his mid-20’s, with a shaved head wearing a short sleeve shirt fired two shots into the air and then fled toward I880 in a mid-2000’s gold Lexus.

#004 Residential Burglary

At 3:07 a.m., Officer Collins was dispatched to a report of a male breaking into a garage in the area of Mill Creek and Mission Blvd. Sgt. Morrison and Officer Bordy arrived on scene and detained a male coming out of the victim’s garage. The male, a 30 year old adult male, Fremont resident was arrested for burglary and loitering on private property. Case investigated by Officer Collins.

#008 Warrant Arrest

At 8:10 a.m., Officer Navas went to an address on the 40100 block of Kelly St to arrest a 31 year old adult male for two outstanding warrants. #009 Misappropriation of Found Property At 7:56 a.m., Officer Dubowy responded to a call of a petty theft of a bicycle in the 2400 block of Stevenson Blvd. The caller advised that an unknown male was trying to break a bike lock with a hammer and screwdriver. Responding officers arrived and contacted the male. The male who happened to be on searchable probation was found to have two blank check books and an identification card not belonging to him in his backpack. The 40 year old adult male was arrested for misappropriation of found property.

#016 Unwanted Guest/Resisting Arrest

At 10:33 a.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Central Ave regarding a 29 year old male who was not wanted at the residence. The male had a felony warrant for auto theft and drug sales. Initially, the male left the scene, but returned after officers had left. Officer Catassi later located the male on Central Av near Logan Dr. Upon seeing Officer Catassi, the male ran. He was caught after a brief foot pursuit. He was arrested for the felony warrant and officers are investigating whether the gold colored iPad in his possession is stolen property.

#039 Drunk in Public

At 6:47 p.m., Officer Citti and FTO Hanrahan contacted a 25 year old adult male near the Saddle Rack and arrested him for public intoxication.

#038 Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

At 9:43 p.m., Officer San Luis contacted a 42 year old adult male, Union City resident and arrested him for being in possession of drug paraphernalia near I880 and Thornton.

#006 Misappropriation of Lost Property

At 9:23 a.m., Officers Dubowy and Ehling contacted a 44 year old adult male in the area of Niles Blvd and Mission Blvd. The male was arrested for a parole violation and misappropriation of lost property.

#002 Felon in Possession of Body Armor, Possession of Brass Knuckles, Resisting Arrest and for a Parole Violation

At 6:38 a.m., officers responded to an ascertain the problem call on the 400 block of Rancho Arroyo Pkwy. The caller stated that she had received a call from the residence and she could hear yelling and things being thrown in the background. Officers arrived and found a broken window and blood smeared on the door. Officers made several attempts to make contact with the occupants at the door and through the window but got no response. Based on the circumstances, officers forced entry into the residence. Once inside, they came across a male and female. The male was not cooperative, but officers were able to detain him. The female claimed she was sleeping and did not hear the officers at the door. Officer ended up arresting the 26 year old adult male for felon in possession of body armor, possession of brass knuckles, resisting arrest and for a parole violation.

#009 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

At 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on the 36000 block of Pizarro Dr. A transient male and a transient female were contacted. The male was in possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and was providing different versions of his name and birthday. Officer Han arrested the 33 year old adult male for possession of drug paraphernalia.

#018 Possession of Narcotics Arrest, Petty Theft and Warrant Arrest

At 4:00 p.m., Officer Soper was dispatched to the 39100 block of Argonaut to investigate a report of a male in custody for shoplifting. He took into custody and arrested a 26 year old adult male, Oakland resident for theft from Safeway, possession of narcotics and also for his felony burglary warrant.

#024 Robbery Arrest

At 7:16 p.m., Safeway loss prevention (39100 block of Argonaut) attempted to stop a transient female theft suspect. The female suspect fights with the loss prevention officer and actively resists until police arrive and detain her. The 50 year old adult female is arrested for robbery and for a probation violation.
