OSBI Agents Assist Collinsville Police w/ Homicide Investigation

At approximately 5 o’clock this morning, a passerby in the area of the 300 block of South 19th Street in Collinsville noticed a woman and vehicle in the roadway that appeared out of place. That witness called Collinsville police who responded to the scene. At the scene, they discovered Brian Neil Floyd, 52, dead in his driveway at 309 S. 19th. Sharon Morris, 37, who was spotted near the vehicle, was taken to a Tulsa hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Floyd and Morris were in a dating relationship. At this time, it appears Floyd is a victim of homicide. The medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. Mid morning, OSBI agents were able to obtain a search warrant to go inside the home and collect evidence. Agents have not made any arrests at this time.
