Five Rancho Cucamonga High students are arrested when a senior prank causes thousands of dollars in property damage

On May 18, 2016, the ongoing vandalism investigation resulted in three additional arrests bringing the total to five. All suspects were students at Rancho Cucamonga High School who were initially involved in a senior prank. The prank became a criminal act when oil and spray paint cans were used to destroy property resulting in thousands of dollars in property damage. Mitchell and Lowdermilk were arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The juvenile suspect was also arrested and booked into San Bernardino County Juvenile Detention Center.
