Scam Targeting City of Pomona Water Customers 
The City of Pomona Water Department is aware of a scam targeting its business and residential customers. A company claiming to represent the city is calling customers threatening to shut off their water if payment is not made to them. They may provide a toll free number for the customer to call back. The suspects may ask for cash or gift card payments and ask to meet in person for payment.
Do not call them back or give out any of your personal information. Immediately call the Water Department at 909-620-2241 or you can visit their offices at City Hall, 505 South Garey Ave.
