Deputies Arrest Domestic Violence Suspect after Pursuit

Suspect: Zachary Stephens, 25 years of age, resident of Chino Hills
Summary: On Friday, May 20, 2016, deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 4000 block of Willowbend Court where the suspect assaulted the victim. The suspect left the residence after a 911 call was made. A description of the suspect vehicle was aired and deputies located it shortly after. A traffic stop was initiated, however the vehicle fled at speeds up to 50 miles per hour through residential streets, failing to stop at a signal light on Soquel Canyon at Slate Drive. The vehicle yielded on Slate Driver at Copper Road and the driver, identified as 25 year old Zachary Stephens of Chino Hills, was arrested. Stephens was arrested for felony evading, domestic violence, possession of illegal narcotics, and driving under the influence of drugs. He was transported and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
