Paris Roberts Jr, a 20 year old male from Keyes has been arrested for homicide.

On Saturday, May 21, 2016, at approximately 9:30 A.M., Turlock Police Department responded to the 4500 Block of N. Golden State Boulevard for a report of the sound of gunshots during what appeared to have been a road rage incident. When officers arrived they found the victim, Pablo Vargas Jr a 34 year old male from Keyes, lying on the roadway with a gunshot wound. A witness provided police with a suspect vehicle description and officers began checking the surrounding area. Officers located a vehicle matching the description near the intersection of Fulkerth Road and N. Golden State Boulevard. Three subjects we were found inside the vehicle, one of them being Roberts.

Vargas was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. A firearm believed to have been used during this incident has been recovered. This is an active investigation and no additional information will be released at this time.
