At 10:59 AM APD officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of N Monroe on a BM shooting at a female. Officers were told that the female was driving by with a child in the car and the male started shooting at the vehicle. There is a previous relationship between the suspect and the victim. A witness saw the suspect go into the apartment complex that is abandoned. Officers have been told that the suspect is armed with a handgun and he is believed to still be inside. Officers got a felony warrant for the suspect. APD SWAT team arrived on scene at 3:28 PM and began deploying has had rounds into the complex. The DPS helicopter was utilized to maintain surveillance. There have been no injuries reported. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
