Captain Mike Landreth of the Jackson Police Department is retiring.
May 20, family and friends of Captain Landreth gathered at the Police Department's Annex to celebrate his retirement. Captain Landreth is retiring with 27 years of dedicated service to the City of Jackson and the citizens that call Jackson home.
Captain Landreth was presented with numerous parting gifts. Mayor Gist presented Captain Landreth with a set of cuff links bearing the City of Jackson seal. Chief Wiser presented Captain Landreth with a Meritorious Merit Ribbon.
"Captain Landreth's leadership and service to the Jackson Police Department and the citizens of this City will be missed," said Chief Julian Wiser. "We wish Mike and his family well as they venture into the next chapter in their lives."
