Missing Juvenile/Runaway, Michele McKinney has been located with a family member. She is safe and additional professional services will be provided to Michele at this time.

On 5-19-16, at approximately 7:25 PM, Sheboygan Police responded to a local group home in regards to a 9-year-old female resident that had run away from the facility.  Staff indicated that Michele M. McKinney, age 9, had become upset and left without permission.  Michele is described as a female black, 4’6, and weighs 84 pounds.  She has shoulder length black hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt with silver stars on the front, blue pants along with pink and purple Nike shoes.  Sheboygan

Police have been actively searching for Michele since the report was taken, including working with family and associates.  At this point, there is no reason to suspect that any foul play is involved as Michele did leave the residence on her own.  We are asking citizens to be to be on the lookout for Michele and check their vehicles, yards, garages etc. in an attempt to locate her.  Citizens with any information are encouraged to contact Sheboygan Police.
