We will host four, five day camps designed to promote personal safety, model citizenship and positive relationships with your police department. We will provide age appropriate instruction in topics such as Anti-Bullying, Internet & Social Media safety, Stranger Danger, Dialing 911 etc. and will also play games including kickball, basketball and giant bowling to name a few. Equipment demonstrations from the police and fire departments, a Careflight visit and a field trip are also planned. There are also volunteer opportunities for Sachse High School students or any Sachse based PTA members. The camps will be held at Sewell Elementary for elementary age students and Hudson Middle School for junior high students. When: June 13-17, June 20-24, July 11-15, and July 18-22
Time: Elementary hours 8am-12pm, Middle School hours 8am-3pm
Middle School Campers will have a pizza party on Thursdays and Elementary Campers will receive a daily snack provided by Wal-Mart.
Both age groups will have a field trip to In-Sync Exotics on Fridays.
