The City of Fremont has issued a Special Event Permit to the Fremont Chamber of Commerce for the “Fremont Burger & Brew Fest” on Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Fremont. The one day festival will feature craft brew, burgers and incredible eats from local restaurants and food trucks, as well as live entertainment. The event will take place rain or shine on Liberty Street between Capitol Ave and Walnut Ave.
We strongly encourage event attendees to pre-plan transportation to and from the event. A designated pick up/drop off area will be located on Beacon Ave just west of Liberty Street for taxis, Uber (discount code: Fremont123 - $15 off first ride for new users) and Lyft. A bicycle valet will be set up to receive, secure and store bikes in the City Hall parking lot, located at 3300 Capitol Ave. Please be cautious when driving in the area and be on the lookout for pedestrians, as this event is expected to draw approximately 5,000 – 10,000 people throughout the course of the day. Pets are not allowed.
The following roads will be closed on Saturday, May 21 from 3:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.:

Liberty Street – between Capitol Avenue and Walnut Avenue

Beacon Ave. – between Liberty St. and State St.
State Street, Walnut Ave, Capitol Ave and most of Beacon Ave will remain open and accessible during the event.
