Advisory

The temporary traffic signals have been energized and are scheduled to be placed on four-way red flash beginning this afternoon.

The temporary traffic signals along Henry Street located at the intersections of S. Ann Arbor Street, S. Harris Street and Old Creek Drive have been energized and are scheduled to be placed on four-way red flash beginning this afternoon (Wednesday, May 18th). The four-way red flash acts as a four-way stop. The four-way red flash will be in place until the Henry Street detour for eastbound Michigan Ave traffic is put on-line; currently scheduled for May 23rd or 24th. Once the Henry Street detour for eastbound Michigan Ave traffic is initiated, the temporary traffic signals will begin operating as a normal green/yellow/red signal. The reason for the four-way red flash is to assist in acclimating motorists with the new traffic signals.
Please stay tuned for updates as the Michigan Ave project moves forward. The City of Saline staff will be providing a minimum of weekly updates and sometimes daily depending on what is taking place in the construction zone.
Remember to visit our local Saline businesses during and after this great project and start looking for the Pave It Forward logo and the fun promotions to follow!
