Details on the South Lincoln Street SWAT call
***UPDATE 5-18-16, 10:20 AM***At 5:45 PM on 5-17-16 APD officers responded to a fight call in the 1900 block of South Lincoln. The victim was driving a silver Ford F-150 on SE 21st. He stopped at the stop sign at SE 21st and South Lincoln. Shennan Ellie Martinez HM 41 and Jesse David Pacheco HM 20 came out of a nearby house and attacked him. Martinez and Pacheco pulled the victim out of the vehicle and assaulted him. During the assault, Pacheco pulled out a gun and fired it at least one time. The victim was able to get away on foot and Pacheco got into the truck. Officers saw Pacheco driving away at a high rate of speed. Pacheco spun out in the 2300 block of South Lincoln and went over the curb. Pacheco then ran on foot, but was caught. Pacheco threw a gun as he was running. Officer did locate the hand gun that Pacheco threw. Inside of the truck officers found several rifle and hand gun magazines loaded with ammunition, four baggies of marijuana, and a baggie of methamphetamine. Witnesses saw Martinez go into a camper in the 1900 block of South Buchanan. Officers were told that he was armed with an AK-47 type rifle. APD SWAT officers were called to the scene and they were able to make contact with Martinez. He came out unarmed. There were conflicting stories about there being a possible third suspect involved. SWAT officers checked two houses and two trailers on the property and no other suspects were located. Officers spoke with the victim and witnesses and determined that the third subject was a witness walking by as the assault occurred. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries to his face. Martinez and Pacheco were interviewed by detectives. Detectives were told that this incident stemmed from the victim borrowing the Ford truck from Martinez. Martinez was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury-Family Violence. Pacheco was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and for nine local municipal warrants. Both were booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
