Using officers in an undercover capacity, officers were able to arrest fifteen (15) individuals for 647 (B) PC and 653.22 PC- Loitering With the Intent To Commit Prostitution. One subject (Joseph Sanabria) attempted to obstruct and interfere with the operation and was arrested.

These types of operations serve as an opportunity for victims of Human Trafficking to speak with officers about the dangers of this lifestyle and provide advocates the opportunity to relocate them to safe locations. Similar operations are scheduled to take place in the near future.

Anyone with information regarding these types of activities are encouraged to contact the Pomona Police Department at (909)620-2085. If you prefer to provide information anonymously, you can call "Crime Stoppers" at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
