Police activity near the 1000 blk of Hermosa Avenue. HBPD Officers responded to the area regarding an assault with shots fired. 
Hermosa Beach Police responded to the area near the 1000 blk of Hermosa Avenue regarding an assault with shots fired. Upon arrival, witnesses confirmed that two subjects in a white BMW were involved in a physical fight with several pedestrians. The driver of the BMW then brandished a loaded firearm and discharged the weapon. The driver and passenger then fled south on Hermosa Avenue and were located a short distance away with the assistance of RBPD. Both occupants of the BMW were positively identified and arrested. The loaded firearm was recovered from the vehicle. Police activity has concluded and no one was injured as a result of the incident.
