UPDATE on aggressive bees in the 3800 block of Hitchcock Dr in Concord.



Concord, CA (May 15, 2016) - On Saturday, May 14 , 2016, at approximately 11:50 AM, Concord Police Officers responded to the 3800 block of Hitchcock Dr. regarding a very large swarm of bees that were aggressively attacking residents and animals in the area.  The property that was determined to be the originating source of the bees was located.  The property owner worked with a local bee keeper to remove the remaining swarm during the evening hours.


***UPDATE*** On Sunday, May 15, 2016, at approximately 9:45 AM, a Concord Police Officer returned to Hitchcock Dr. and spoke with the homeowner on the status of the remaining swarm of bees.  He advised that most of the remaining swarm had been eradicated the previous evening.  He further stated that there were just a few bees remaining which were confined to his rear yard.  The Concord Police Officer noticed a significantly reduced number of bees in the area today.
