Phone Outage in Highland Village 
City News Release
On Thursday, May 12 a contractor inadvertently cut three major Frontier phone lines in the City causing an outage in phone service throughout most of the city. This outage included 911 in Highland Village and City offices. Highland Village 911 service has been restored.
Frontier crews are on site working to make the repairs, which will require splicing that runs through the manhole system. Frontier management has assured the city they will stay on site until repairs are made. It is anticipated crews will need to work through the weekend to completely restore service.
The contractor followed all precautions and procedures, but unfortunately these phone lines were not marked. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We will provide updates as we receive them on the city website, the cable channel (15 Time Warner/43 Frontier) and the city Facebook page.
