A mobile food pantry truck from Feeding America delivered food to Wisconsin Rapids today. Food is being distributed to those in need in the south parking lot of the United Methodist Church, 441 Garfield Street, Wisconsin Rapids, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

If you have not registered but qualify to participate, please come to the Maple Street parking lot as soon as possible. You will be given a registration form to fill out in order to pick up food.

Who can participate? Residents of south Wood County who use or qualify to use any food assistance program such as SNAP, WIC, Quest, free & reduced meals, etc. South Wood County for purposes of this mobile food pantry is defined as household addresses that are south of County Trunk C in Wood County.

What to bring? Proof of Wood County residency (recent utility bill or current driver’s license), your confirmation email and sturdy containers such as baskets, boxes, cloth bags, etc.
