Sgt. Leon Carpenter is pictured here at the World Reconstruction Exposition that took place last week in Orlando, Florida. It was a great opportunity for one of Forest City Police Department's Traffic Crash Reconstructionist to obtain new information from different law enforcement agencies from around the world. The event was sponsored by 21 crash associations from the US, Canada, and around the world. WREX 2016 was the largest training event for crash investigators that has ever been held. The trip was funded by the North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys. Sgt. Carpenter was joined by other local officers from Asheville Police Department and Columbus Police Department.
