Two Arrested in New Castle for Meth

New Castle – Last evening at 9:30 p.m., the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team served a search warrant on the residence at 525 N. 25th St. in New Castle. The warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into the possession of Methamphetamine.

As a result of that warrant, Robby Gonzalez, age 24, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Neglect of a Dependent, all three Level 6 Felony charges. The Neglect of a Dependent charge stems from three children under the age of ten that had to be removed from the home by Division of Child Services.

Also arrested was Reanna Stearns, age 27, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Syringe and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, all three Level 6 Felony charges. Both Gonzalez and Stearns were lodged in the Henry County Jail.

The Meth Suppression Team was assisted in their investigation by troopers from the Pendleton District; Henry County Prosecutor Joe Bergacs; the New Castle Police Department, the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and Division of Child Services.
