The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community.
May 9th.
0800 Hours: Officer Jackman conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 50 year old Newark male for his outstanding felony warrant and for providing false information to a Police Officer. The suspect was booked at the Fremont Jail.
0819 Hours: Officer Nobbe responded to the 6100 block of Tourraine Drive on a report of a vehicle burglary. The loss is unknown.
2004 Hours: Officer Norvell responded to investigate a residential burglary on the 5800 block of Bellflower Drive. A computer is the only reported loss.
