There will be a Sobriety Checkpoint on Sunday, 15 May 2016, from 0030 until 0200 on Hollywood Dr. at Old Hickory Blvd 
As part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of the citizens of Jackson, the Jackson Police Department will be performing Sobriety Checkpoints and increased traffic enforcement throughout the city this weekend.
There will be a Sobriety Checkpoint on Sunday, 15 May 2016, from 0030 until 0200 on Hollywood Dr. at Old Hickory Blvd, and one Sunday, 15 May 2016 from 0215 until 0345 on US 45 By-Pass Just south of Hollywood Dr.
During these Sobriety Checkpoints and increased traffic enforcement, officers will concentrate their efforts on removing impaired drivers from the roadways. However, as non-compliance with the safety belt and child restraint laws place people in danger these laws will be vigorously enforced as well.
