Green Bay Police to Host Landlord Training for Landlords and Property Managers

The Green Bay Police Department is pleased to another edition of our Landlord Training program, "Keeping Illegal Activity out of your Rental Property". Training will be held on Wednesday, May 18th from 8am - 12 pm at the Green Bay Police Department, 307 S. Adams Street.

This training can be beneficial for landlords of small properties or major property management company employees. It offers insight into best practices for landlords, resolving landlord / tenant complaints, and numerous other topics. Properties that are well managed improve the quality of life for tenants in those properties, as well as those in that neighborhood.

This training session will help answer some very important questions you might have, such as:
- Is my lease legal?
- Can I be billed by the Police Department because of my tenants?
- What does an inspector look for when responding to a complaint?
- How can I be automatically notified of police calls to my property?
- What are the signs of illegal drug activity?
- What are some resources when doing a background check on prospective tenants?

This training is available free of charge and features guest speakers from the police department, city legal department, and the inspection department.
