(Etowah County, Alabama) An Albertville woman has been arrested in connection to a recent theft, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Cheryl Ann Hayden, 37, of Albertville, is charged with one count of third degree theft of property, which is a felony,” investigator Adam Chapman said.

Hayden allegedly broke into a residence on Rickles Road, stole two rings and pawned them at a local shop. The jewelry has been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.

Hayden was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and is being held on $1,500 bond.
