After Lomax Perry Dehjohn struck his girlfriend in the face causing a black eye and swelling, he told her no one could come and take her from the apartment they shared without a fight. A day or two later she told a friend that has mentored her about her situation and that she was afraid to leave. She also said she was starting to have headaches from her injuries. The victim's mentor notified the Sheriff's office of the situation and members of Sheriff Victor Hill's elite Stalking Unit responded and met with her. They had her call the victim and once she was on the phone they assured her that help was on the way, and that all she needed to do was unlock the door.

Once the elite Stalking unit entered the apartment, Mr. Dehjohn changed his mind about wanting to fight anyone and was taken into custody without incident. Dehjohn now faces the wall in Georgia's toughest para-military jail.
