On May 4th, Officer Barry Austin was recognized and honored by Mayor Gist for his dedication to the City of Jackson, the Jackson Police Department, and citizens of this community. “It is indeed an honor to recognize dedication and service,” said Mayor Gist. “Officer Austin has been a valuable asset to this city and its citizens.”
Mayor Gist presented Officer Austin with a twenty year service certificate and lapel pin.
