HCSO: 2016 Harris County Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony 
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Sheriff Ron Hickman and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard invite you to the 2016 Harris County Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office will host the ceremony honoring fallen Harris County Peace Officers on Thursday, May 05, 2016 at 7:00 PM.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has recorded 42 in the line deaths since its formation in 1837, an additional 17 Harris County peace officers have also given their lives in service to the County.
Special honors will be rendered for Detention Officer Tronoski Jones and Deputy Darren Goforth. Both were recorded in the line deaths for Harris County in 2015.
