MOSES LAKE, Wash. (04MAY2016): An arrest has been made, with more possible charges pending completion of the investigation, in the shooting death of Thomas M. Hernandez, age 21, of Ephrata, at a residence near Moses Lake late Monday night.
Moses Lake resident Jesse Ray James, age 23, has been arrested, charged, and booked into Grant County Jail for:
1. Unlawful possession of a firearm
2. Evidence tampering
Deputies were called to the home at 8742 Neppel Road Northeast shortly after 11 p.m. Monday. The female occupant of the home said she heard a loud noise inside the home, went to check and found a man on the floor of the living room. That man, later identified as Hernandez, died at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
