HARRIS COUNTY, TX – At 8:43 AM Deputies responded to a report of shots fired at the Knights Transportation facility located at the 20400 block of Franz Road.

The High Risk Operations Unit, Mobile Command Unit and Aerial Support Units were activated and responded to the location.

A preliminary investigation has confirmed that a recently terminated employee arrived on scene and opened fire on multiple employees. One employee is confirmed deceased and two have sustained injuries. The suspect is confirmed deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A Harris County Deputy sustained an injury to the knee while making entry into the property.

At this time the scene is secure. Any additional information will be provided by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
