Employee of the Month

Following the guidelines for the “Employee of the Month” program, the Jackson Police Department is pleased to announce Officer Jason Jones as the May selection. Officer Jones has four years of service with the Jackson Police Department and works 3rd shift in the Patrol Division.

Officer Jones’ personality is one of humbleness and selflessness. These traits define him as a person and as an officer.

Though Officer Jones has only been employed with the department for four years, he has accomplished so much. Officer Jones’ duties and accomplishments include field training officer, active shooter instructor, and SWAT operator, all of which he performs in a professional and exemplary manner.

Officer Jones selfless character and unwavering care for his family and fellow officers make him a great nominee for Employee of the Month.
