UPDATE: One dead in Moses Lake shooting; victim identified
MOSES LAKE, Wash. (03MAY2016) – Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison has identified the victim of last night’s shooting as 21-year-old Thomas M. Hernandez of Ephrata.
Deputies were called to the home at 8742 Neppel Road Northeast shortly after 11 p.m. Monday. The female occupant of the home said she heard a loud noise inside the home, went to check and found a man on the floor of the living room. That man, later identified as Hernandez, died at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
Coroner Morrison’s staff is conducting an autopsy today. Mr. Hernandez's family has been notified.
The investigation continues as detectives interview the female occupant and her adult son who also lives in the home. There
have been no arrests.
